Final TPM of the REFORM Project Held in Bolu
The 3rd and final Project Meeting of the Erasmus+ project “We Want to Be Ready for Today’s Ever-Changing Life – Developing Skills of Persons with Disabilities for the 21st Century (REFORM)” was held on April 21-22, 2025 in Bolu, Turkey. The meeting, hosted by the Turkish partner SAMDER, started with the opening speech of İlknur Ünal and Yahya Mustafa Keskin and continued with a comprehensive agenda for the evaluation, finalization and sustainability planning of the project activities.
The first day of the meeting focused on the creation of the REFORM Handbook on the knowledge and competencies that professionals working with persons with disabilities should have regarding 21st century skills. During the session, an overview of the progress of the book process was presented, the final version was reviewed and strategies for publication and dissemination were discussed. It focused on uploading the handbook on the project website, online distribution through partner organizations’ own channels and promotion at upcoming events. The session ended with an agreement on the final outputs and final reflections of all partners on the process.
The development, piloting and evaluation of the REFORM Blended Learning Training Program was then discussed. The developed contents were introduced through educational videos, theoretical chapters, practical activities and inspirational materials. Pilot implementation results were summarized through participant selection process, implementation experiences and feedbacks. The methods used in the evaluation of the training program and the arrangements made accordingly were shared in detail.
The second day continued with Project Management and Implementation after a brief summary of the previous sessions. Quality management plan, evaluation tools, financial monitoring and reporting processes were discussed. Then, under the title of Dissemination and Publicity, the visibility activities carried out throughout the project were evaluated. Electronic newsletters, multilingual project website, social media posts, contributions to academic journals and content published on the EPALE platform were discussed.
Finally, the structure, objectives and outputs of the REFORM Final Seminars organized in Turkey (Bolu-Ankara) and Slovakia (Bratislava) were discussed. It is aimed that these seminars will contribute to the dissemination and sustainability of the project outputs and the establishment of new collaborations. The meeting ended with a general evaluation, certificate ceremony, thank you speeches and social event.
