Final Seminar / Bolu

One of the Final Seminars of the REFORM Project within the scope of the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership Project numbered 2022-2-TR01-KA210-ADU-000094237 was successfully organized by SAMDER in Bolu on 8 April 2025 with the participation of 35 participants. The seminar was attended by prospective special education teachers and sociologists who will work with individuals with special needs.

In the seminar, Dr. Nesime Kübra Terzioğlu from Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University Faculty of Education, Department of Special Education and Prof. Dr. Yahya Mustafa Keskin from Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Sociology gave the keynote speeches. The seminar focused on key issues such as lifelong learning, economic activity, social inclusion and dignity of persons with disabilities. The REFORM Handbook and REFORM Blended-Learning Training Program (in English, Turkish and Slovak) were introduced at the event, covering the skills required for professionals and people with disabilities in the 21st century.
Prof. Dr. Nesime Kübra Terzioğlu introduced the modules developed within the REFORM project, emphasizing the importance of preparing people with disabilities for the 21st century. She also shared detailed information about the videos and other outputs produced in the project. Prof. Dr. Yahya Mustafa Keskin provided comprehensive information about Erasmus+ projects in general, emphasizing the objectives, importance and target groups of the REFORM project and how such projects support the empowerment and participation of persons with disabilities in social life.

At the end of the seminar, a Q&A session was organized, giving the participants the opportunity to ask their questions and discuss future possibilities related to the project. This seminar provided the participants with important insights on how the training materials provided by the REFORM project can be put into practice and how the outputs from the project can contribute to new projects.

Final Seminar / Veľký Meder

The REFORM Final Seminar was held on March 21, 2025 in Veľký Meder, Slovakia. The event brought together 30 participants from various sectors such as psychologists, special educators, social workers and employers. The aim of the seminar was to present the results of the REFORM project and included participants from educational institutions, NGOs and organizations serving people with disabilities.

The seminar focused on key topics such as lifelong learning, economic activity, social inclusion and dignity of persons with disabilities. The event introduced the REFORM Handbook and REFORM Blended-Learning Training Program (available online, free of charge, in three languages – English, Turkish, and Slovak), which cover the skills required for professionals and people with disabilities in the 21st century.

Participants received practical information on how they can integrate these resources into their daily practice and incorporate them into their existing training activities. In addition, a discussion session was organized on improving services for people with disabilities, supporting their social inclusion and integration into the labor market.
The feedback from the seminar was very positive, with 95% of the participants expressing their satisfaction. The participants highly appreciated the quality of the information provided, the importance of the results of the project and the opportunities for cooperation.
